If you are a thinking business person, you’ll realize that the only way to improve business is to recognize what you don’t do well, bite the bullet, and change something to make this better. Well, Surplustronics WAS just a small business, until we did realize what was holding us up, and implemented SmartFreight to fix it.  We’re sure glad we did. Our business has grown as a result and I can say that if we hadn’t done it, we wouldn’t be able to cope with the looming busy season.

Actually our dispatch timeframe tightened from 2-3 days average to mostly SAME DAY. If that’s not a good enough reason to use SmartFreight then I don’t know what is.

 This is the absolute truth – from the time a parcel goes on the scales to being complete on the trolley is LESS than 10 seconds for an existing customer.  Well done IFS for this fantastic foresight.

We have been using SmartFreight since August 2006, and run all our five carriers through it. The Cost Comparison feature has reduced our freight spend despite the increases in carrier rates, and the reports make it simple to reconcile the freight bills each month.

SmartFreight is fast and easy to use – we simply could not go back to the old days of handwriting consignment notes and attaching prepaid tickets to boxes.
